OUR FAITH

A Comprehensive Look At What We Believe The Bible Teaches

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, revealing His will, character, and plan for humanity. It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and life, empowered by the Spirit for understanding and application.

  • 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:105.

We believe the Bible is dispensational in nature, revealing God's progressive plan for humanity across distinct periods of time. Dispensations highlight specific divine revelations and responsibilities for each era, culminating in the redemptive work of Christ and the establishment of His eternal Kingdom.

  • Ephesians 1:10; Hebrews 1:1-2; 2 Timothy 2:15; Galatians 4:4-5.

The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and distinct in their roles, yet perfectly unified in essence and purpose.

  • Matthew 28:19; John 14:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14.

Jesus Christ

We believe in the incarnation of Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, who took on human flesh to dwell among us. Through His incarnation, He revealed the Father, demonstrated perfect obedience, and provided the ultimate example of love and humility.

  • John 1:14; Philippians 2:6-8; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 2:17.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and imminent return. He is the only Savior and mediator between God and humanity.

  • John 1:1-4; Colossians 1:15-20; Acts 1:11; 1 Timothy 2:5.

We believe Jesus is the full revelation of the Father and the ultimate pattern for humanity, perfectly reflecting God’s character and demonstrating how we are to live in relationship with Him and others.

  • John 14:9; Colossians 1:15-17; Hebrews 1:1-3; 1 John 2:6.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. It includes repentance, justification, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit. Salvation restores our relationship with God and delivers us from sin and its penalty.

  • Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; 2 Corinthians 5:17.

The Kingdom of God

We believe the Kingdom of God is both a present reality and a future hope. Through the Holy Spirit, believers are empowered to live as ambassadors of the Kingdom, manifesting righteousness, peace, and joy.

  • Luke 17:21; Romans 14:17; Matthew 6:10; Revelation 11:15.

The Holy Spirit and Spiritual Gifts

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells and empowers believers, distributing spiritual gifts for the building up of the church and advancing God’s Kingdom. These gifts include prophecy, healing, tongues, and more, as described in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11.

  • Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Romans 8:9-11; 1 Peter 4:10.

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a distinct experience following salvation, empowering believers for bold witness and service. The initial physical evidence is speaking in tongues, as on the Day of Pentecost.

  • Acts 2:1-4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:1-6; Joel 2:28-29.

The Rapture and Second Coming of Christ

We believe in the pre-tribulational rapture of the church, where believers will be caught up to meet Christ in the air. This will be followed by His visible, glorious return to establish His millennial reign on earth.

  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 19:11-16; Matthew 24:30-31; Titus 2:13.

The Millennial Reign of Christ

We believe in the literal, thousand-year reign of Jesus Christ on earth, where He will establish His Kingdom in righteousness and peace. During this time, Christ will fulfill the promises made to Israel, and the whole earth will experience His perfect rule. This reign will culminate in the final defeat of Satan and the establishment of a new heaven and earth.

  • Revelation 20:1-6; Isaiah 11:4-9; Zechariah 14:9; 1 Corinthians 15:24-28.

We believe repentance is a Spirit-led turning away from sin, and regeneration is the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit that imparts new life, making the believer a new creation in Christ.

  • Acts 3:19; John 3:3-6; Titus 3:5; 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Righteousness in Christ

We believe believers are declared righteous through faith in Christ, clothed in His righteousness, and empowered to live holy lives by the Holy Spirit.

  • Romans 3:22-24; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 3:9; Hebrews 10:10.

The Sin Nature and the Fall of Man

We believe humanity was created in God’s image but fell into sin through Adam’s disobedience. This sin nature is inherited by all, resulting in separation from God and the need for salvation.

  • Genesis 3; Romans 5:12-19; Psalm 51:5; Ephesians 2:1-3.

Heaven and Hell

We believe heaven is the eternal dwelling place of the redeemed, where they will enjoy unbroken fellowship with God. Hell is a place of eternal separation and punishment for those who reject Christ.

  • Ephesians 4:11-13; 1 Corinthians 12:28; Romans 12:6-8.

  • Romans 6:14; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 8:6.

15. Conditional Salvation

We believe salvation is conditional upon a believer’s continued faith and obedience. Apostasy, or deliberate turning away from Christ, results in the forfeiture of salvation.

  • Hebrews 6:4-6; 1 Timothy 4:1; John 15:6; 2 Peter 2:20-21.

16. Divine Healing

We believe in divine healing as part of Christ’s atonement. God still heals today, and believers are called to pray in faith for physical, emotional, and spiritual restoration.

  • Luke 10:19; Mark 16:17; Acts 16:16-18; Colossians 2:15.

We believe that Spirit-filled believers cannot be inhabited by demons, as they are temples of the Holy Spirit. However, believers can still experience external demonic influence, which requires discernment and spiritual authority to resist. Unbelievers, on the other hand, can be inhabited by demons and are in need of deliverance through the power of Christ.

  • Romans 8:15-17; Galatians 4:5-7; Ephesians 1:5; John 1:12.

The Prophetic Ministry

  • 1 Corinthians 14:3; Amos 3:7; 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21; Joel 2:28.

  • Genesis 1-2; Colossians 1:16; Hebrews 11:3; Psalm 19:1.

Satan, Fallen Angels, and Demons

We believe in the reality of Satan, fallen angels, and demons as spiritual enemies of God and His people. Through Christ’s authority, believers can overcome their schemes.

  • Ephesians 6:12; 1 Peter 5:8; Revelation 12:9; Luke 10:19.

Against Religion and Legalism

We stand firmly against any form of religion and legalism, which promote rigid rituals, traditions, and self-righteousness over a Spirit-led relationship with Christ. We believe our faith is grounded in God’s grace, the freedom of the Gospel, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

  • Galatians 5:1; Colossians 2:20-23; Romans 6:14; Matthew 23:27-28.

Sanctification

We believe sanctification is the ongoing process of being set apart for God’s purposes and being transformed into the image of Christ. Through the work of the Holy Spirit and our cooperation, believers grow in holiness and reflect Christ’s character in their daily lives. Sanctification is both instantaneous at salvation and progressive throughout the believer’s life.

  • 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4; Romans 12:1-2; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Hebrews 12:14.

Justification

We believe justification is a gracious and instantaneous act of God, in which He declares the believer righteous through faith in Jesus Christ. Justification removes the guilt and penalty of sin, granting the believer peace with God and access to His presence.

  • Romans 5:1; Galatians 2:16; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Titus 3:7.

  • Romans 8:30; Philippians 3:20-21; 1 Corinthians 15:51-53; 1 John 3:2.
